Awards Judge
From Winner to Judge – and Loving Every Minute
I know how powerful recognition can be.
Winning Best Leader in Marketing at the Global Women in Marketing Awards and being shortlisted for national awards, including the Great British Entrepreneur Awards twice, gave me more than a moment of celebration. It reinforced that the work we do, supporting people to build better businesses, really matters.
Awards are not the goal, but they can create momentum, confidence and visibility. And sometimes that recognition is the nudge people need to believe they belong in the room.
These days, I’m just as excited to champion others as I am to be recognised myself.
I sit on judging panels for the UK StartUp Awards, the Global Women in Marketing Awards, and The Disruptive Franchise Awards – including awards that once had my name on them. That full circle moment means a lot.
I love seeing people at the start of their journey – the ideas, the bravery and the ambition behind building something of your own. The passion founders, franchise partners and marketers bring is huge, and being able to help recognise that is a privilege.
Every judging session reminds me how much talent is out there and how important it is to shine a light on it.
